When the 159/Brera came along, a new 3.2l engine was produced with parts supplied by GM. At that time GM owned Saab and partly owned Fiat and there was a project for a shared platform/engine.
Thoughsaying that seen a few cars with transfer plates, mounting them to various other front RWD gearboxes. This ones mounted to an Alfa 105 series 5 speed box. I believe somebody has made a bellhousing casting for the Alfa Romeo Spider gearbox to fit the Busso V6. I believe somebody may have then taken that casting and made an adapter for the T-5.
